In order for a product to be sold at Saffron Rouge, it must meet the following criteria:
- It must have at least one of the organic body care certifications, or provide sufficient evidence to Saffron Rouge that they are using certified organic content as much as possible.
- All non-agricultural or processed agricultural ingredients in a product that cannot be certified organic must be on The Green List™. Saffron Rouge considers products that contain even one Black List™ ingredient not acceptable for sale.
This way we can guarantee that all the products available at Saffron Rouge are free of toxic synthetic ingredients, synthetic colors, fragrances and preservatives, and are never tested on animals.
Who We Are
Saffron Rouge is comprised of a group of organic beauty experts headed by husband and wife team Jeff and Kirstin Binder.
Kirstin Binder (President & Founder)
Kirstin is an expert in botanicals and organic standards. Kirstin studied phytotherapy (medical herbalism) at University in England. Next, she formulated one of the first lines of professional herbal products in North America. As the President and Founder of Saffron Rouge, she meticulously researches organic formulations and ingredients, which is integral to the selection process. More about Kirstin
Jeff Binder (CEO)
Jeff has over 13 years of combined experience in the natural health & beauty industry. Prior to joining Saffron Rouge as CEO in 2002, Jeff was president of a natural health products company for 6 years. As president of that company, he facilitated the development of a range of natural health products, and was influential in bringing them to market. Jeff is considered a dynamic speaker and has lectured to holistic health professionals throughout North, Central and South America, and Europe.
