Everything Is Coming Up Roses

I’ve been waiting for it, and I know by the massive amounts of email I get, that you've been patiently waiting for it too. (Thank you to everyone who emailed about the line. I enjoy hearing what products you can't seem to live without.) Well wait no more because Saffron Rouge is now going to be selling Weleda's wildly popular Wild Rose Facial Care collection, previously only sold by estheticians.

The eight products in this intensive, nourishing line rejuvenate skin with organic Rosehip Seed and Rosa Damascena oils. These remarkable oils also contain a combination of vitamins and fatty acids to help banish dull skin and reduce the signs of premature aging. The product line up includes everything for your facial routine from a cleanser to an eye cream (and everything in between). Some of the products, like the Wild Rose Facial Toner and Moisture Cream are perfect for all skin types. While others, like the Night Cream and Intensive Facial Oil are suitable for normal-to-dry skin types.

The products themselves are amazing, but since I'm such a believer in sustainable farming I also love how Weleda cultivates its roses. As the world's largest buyer of Rosa Damascena and Centifolia Roses (they harvest more than 400 million annually), Weleda has made sure that their cultivation doesn't harm the environment by developing a fair trade project with local farmers in the Turkish village of Senir. With Weleda's help, 120 farmers have updated their farms according to organic standards. It's their mission to provide this small, local community with a secure living while also protecting their land and water for future generations. So when you smooth on the luscious Wild Rose Night Cream or the refreshing Facial Toner, you can be sure that you're not only helping your skin, but you're also helping the environment, one rose at a time.

I only wish they had a Wild Rose Lip Balm - I'm not a big fan of the Everon Lip Balm.

Is the weleda wild rose skin care as good as dr. Hauschka or Suzanne Aux Bains face care? I like weleda's body lotions. I have never used their face creams. Thank you

It's a personal preference really.  For me, I absolutely love Suzanne aux bains. Regenerating Organic Night Treatment, and also really like Suzanne aux bains. Organic Moisturizing Day Treatment, Jurlique Balancing Day Care Cream and Wrinkle Beauty Cream, Natural Balance Hydrating Face Cream and Dr.Hauschka Rose Day Cream Light.  But everyone's different.  I love Weleda's Wild Rose Cleansing Milk (not Lotion) which for whatever reason isn't available now.  I tried it a few of years ago after picking it up in Germany.  It was one of my favorite cleansers. I do like the Wild Rose line better than the Iris line.  Sorry I know that doesn't really answer your question. November's Inner Circle mailing is all about the Wild Rose line and Inner Circle members will get to try a couple of Wild Rose samples.
