Lavender at its best
I love this natural lavender soap. I use it with a body puff in the shower and even as a face wash in the summer. It's lovely added to a bath as a low-sudsing bubble bath. Beware that it will leave a residue in your sink/tub. Small price to pay for clean and natural!

Calming Lavender
I've tried a few other Dr. Bronner's soaps, and this is by far my favourite one. It cleans well and the smell of lavender is extremely soothing. Recommended! And will keep buying this one.

Excellent all purpose cleanser, except for hand washing....
Great all purpose soap. We use it for household cleaning as well as shower soap (in a foaming pump bottle). However we have found it too drying for frequent hand washing.

Best travel soap!
This will sound odd - but the only time I use this is when I travel! Firstly, hotel soaps and shampoos as far as I am concerned are too small to really do anything (even with a pouf or rag) so I carry my own body wash or bar soap and shampoo. I stumbled upon Dr. Bronner's a few years ago and loved my experience. A LITTLE goes a super long way - this thing lasts forever, so even a small bottle is great for hair and body (washing, shaving). I've never tried the other scents since I love lavender, but I think I'll try the almond and peppermint next!

Directions for use
To use as a body wash, pour several drops onto your hands, washcloth or sponge. Then lather up, scrub down and rinse off. To wash your hair, apply several drops to wet hair and massage into your scalp. Rinse well and follow with the Citrus Conditioning Hair Rinse.
You can also dilute one-part soap into 40 parts water for light cleaning. Use it full strength for heavy-duty jobs. To clean your laundry use 1/4 cup to 1/3 cup for one regular load; adjust as needed depending on the hardness of your water. Adding a dash of baking soda makes it even better.
