Good for skin conditions
This is a lovely product with a cult following. If you have any kind of skin problems (rosacea, acne, etc.), I would definitely recommend this cleanser as a way to get your skin back into balance. The only drawback is that it isn't a makeup remover, so you have to use a different cleanser beforehand. I ended up using this in the mornings to cleanse my makeup free face and using the cleansing milk in the evening to remove makeup. If, however, you just want one multipurpose product to remove makeup, it might be best to go with the milk.

this is absolutely a fabulous cream, i have acne prone oily skin and it does not dry out my face and has reduced my breakouts...i will keep buying it, over and over again. i follow with the normalizing day oil

Great for oily/combination/congested skin
I have tried many many products over the years, but my skin has always looked best when using Dr. Hauschka. I have sensitive combination/oily skin and this cleanser keeps me exfoliated so that I break out less and have less congestion on my forehead and chin. It also does not dry out my skin, which most other cleansers do. Followed with the Dr. Hauschka toner it leaves my face feeling refreshed, but still hydrated.

Gentle and Effective
I got this as part of the sample kit for oily skin. Love it! It took a while to get used to as I was previously using oil-free products, but what a difference! My skin is calm and free of redness for the first time in years. I apply with the press and roll method, and then let it sit on my skin for a couple of minutes before rinsing. Follow with the Dr. Hauschka Clarifying Toner.

Directions for use
Remove makeup and moisten face well with warm water. (Ideally the neck, upper part of chest and ear lobes are included). Squeeze 1 inch of Cleansing Cream onto the hand, mix with warm water and spread between wet hands. Begin to work the Cleansing Cream in with a rolling and pressing movement of the palms and fingers. Important: Do not rub or scrub. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, and follow with a splash of cold water. (Use tepid water throughout for sensitive skin.) The length of time that Cleansing Cream is worked into the skin varies with each skin condition: normal or dry, 1 to 2 minutes; sensitive, 30 to 60 seconds; oily or impure, 3 to 5 minutes. Complete the cleansing process by applying Dr.Hauschka Facial Toner, Clarifying Toner, Rhythmic Night Conditioner or Rhythmic Conditioner, Sensitive. Use Mornings and evenings.
