“Price Isn't Right

While of a high quality, it is not so exceptional that I keep coming back for it. Also, it seems a bit expensive.
Perhaps someone looking for a restorative conditioner would have higher praises….but for everyday use, I choose an organic conditioner from a local vendor.

“Great conditioner for curly girls

My very favorite conditioner and I have tried hundreds over the years. I have very coarse, curly hair and it’s important that I avoid all the nasties that occur in supermarket conditioners. This conditioner leaves my hair super shiny, soft and manageable. Used to use it with Dr. Hauschka Apricot shampoo, which has since been discontinued—that was a very bad day indeed. Pray the same thing doesn’t happen to this product—always buy three or four so I have a few stored up against that event!

“Works for my thick hair

It works well for my thick hair to make it manageable without leaving it greasy-feeling. I found it works best to work it partially through my hair, then add more water and work it through the rest of the way. I leave it on a minute or so and it washes out cleanly, leaving my hair feeling soft but not at all greasy. It has an unusual scent — not sure I would describe it as “herbal” as in the on-line description. I find the scent pleasant in any case, and most importantly, it doesn’t bother my husband, who is extremely sensitive to any kind of artificial or flowery scent.

“Good Hair Days - but...

A mixed bag. My hair, which is long and mostly white, took on added body and looked really good, very manageable – just not as shiny as usual. However, a mold grew in the half-used bottle of both the conditioner and the shampoo – an all-time first!!! As my bathroom is mold-free, I assume it entered the product somewhere in the manufacturing process. I threw it away, with regret.

“Didn't work for me

I was not pleased with this product. I really wanted to like it but it left my hair feeling a little greasy and yet seemed to dry it out over time. I have fine long hair, so maybe this would work for someone with a different hair texture.
