Great for very dry skin 3

I was looking for a product that would nourish my dry skin especially when winter takes its toll. The Rose Day Cream does leave your skin moisturized, but remains oily to touch for quite a while and made my sensitive skin red and tingly. Dr. H recommends allowing your skin to breathe at night, but I apply a thin layer before bed and wake up to great skin!

Rich cream but not too heavy for dry skin 5

A lovely, rich cream I use every morning. I like to put it on while my face is still damp or spray it with a little rose water first, I find that cream goes on more smoothly and evenly that way since it is so thick.

Rich Cream for Dry Skin 5

This is one of my all time favorites, I always go back to it. I have a tendency toward very dry skin and this works great for that. It is very rich so if you you don’t like that you may not like this, but it’s one of my staples.

Too heavy even for a 64-year-old 3

I usually use Dr. Hauschka Day Cream, but now and then my skin requires heavier moisturizing, and a saleslady recommended Rose Day Cream. I find it greasy, difficult to apply because it is so very heavy. I note that there is a newer Rose Day Cream LIGHT which likely solves the heaviness problem, but I haven’t yet tried it. I wound up using this stuff on my feet.

Perfect for dry skin 4

This is a great cream for dry skin especially during the colder months. I loved the fact it was rich and didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. However, it took a while for the oil to absorb, so if you’re putting on make-up immediately after, I’d decide to wait a little bit. Your skin will be softer and healthier but it does take some time to settle in. The scent is wonderful. Not overpowering or “mature” like many products that are rose scented.

Dr. Hauschka makes a Rose Day Cream light, but I haven’t tried it yet. It’s supposed to be better for people who don’t want a thicker cream during the day time.

A great rich winter cream that is not greasy. Great scent! 5

I love using this day cream during the cold and dry Canadian winter months. It is rich without being greasy, is easily absorbed and has a wonderful fresh rose scent. I was hesitant that the fragrance would be to “grandma-like” but it definately is not! One of my winter staples!
