More about this product

Suitable for all hair types, it helps enhance hair's natural curl or wave while protecting it with natural plant ingredients. Sea salt adds texture and body and encouraging waves. Lavender essential oil protects the hair shaft and combats the natural drying effect of the sea salt. Has a lavender scent. Safe for color-treated hair.

Gives my hair and my mood a lift 5

I got seduced by the name but really expected this to be a bit of a gimmicky product. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how unique and wonderful this spray is. It gives such a natural texture to my hair - not a stiff hold like a typical hairspray, but more like a fullness and moveable control. I don't get any of that flaking or whiteness that other's complain about. This puts me in a beachy state of mind every time I use it.

Drying and crunchy. 1

I really wanted to love this product. I have thick, curly hair and this product wreaked absolute havoc on it. Even when I only used a wee bit, my hair was crunchy and sticky. The worst part is the drying side effect. I had to stop using it because my hair was suffering. On the bright side, it smells heavenly like lavender! However, I would not recommend, especially if you have dry hair.

Fun beach-y mist 4

It does have some of the aspects of the beach - slightly salty, and leaves hair slightly more moist. Use on wet hair - gets a little sticky if used on dry hair - and use sparingly rather than heavily. I like to combine it with the Bourbon/Vanilla/ Tangerine Texturizer by John Masters to enhance curl and softness. Also good alone, it's fun.

White film and flakes ruin the beach look 2

The Sea Mist does deliver a beach look. It smells pleasant: a mixture of salty and sweet. Unfortunately, the beach look doesn't last for long and your hair becomes basically just tangled. The sea salt dries and leaves a white film on your hair, that will eventually flake off. I would recommend just using it on wet or damp hair, not dry hair. I like that it is organic, something that you can't find in many styling products. I really wanted this product to work.
