“Gives my hair and my mood a lift
I got seduced by the name but really expected this to be a bit of a gimmicky product. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how unique and wonderful this spray is. It gives such a natural texture to my hair – not a stiff hold like a typical hairspray, but more like a fullness and moveable control. I don’t get any of that flaking or whiteness that other’s complain about. This puts me in a beachy state of mind every time I use it.

“Fun beach-y mist
It does have some of the aspects of the beach – slightly salty, and leaves hair slightly more moist. Use on wet hair – gets a little sticky if used on dry hair – and use sparingly rather than heavily. I like to combine it with the Bourbon/Vanilla/ Tangerine Texturizer by John Masters to enhance curl and softness. Also good alone, it’s fun.

“White film and flakes ruin the beach look
The Sea Mist does deliver a beach look. It smells pleasant: a mixture of salty and sweet. Unfortunately, the beach look doesn’t last for long and your hair becomes basically just tangled. The sea salt dries and leaves a white film on your hair, that will eventually flake off. I would recommend just using it on wet or damp hair, not dry hair. I like that it is organic, something that you can’t find in many styling products. I really wanted this product to work.

“Summer hair!
I really like this product. I have really curly, long hair, so there’s a lot of it, but a few sprays are quite enough for my hair. It doesn’t weigh it down, or frizz it out, and it smells nice. Just be careful not to use too much, because again, a little bit does the trick. I feel nice and beachy and in good spirits after using it.

“Gives fine hair a boost
I hate styling products, like the way they feel. This is the first one I’ve found that doesn’t remind me of its presence all day. It gives me more body. I’ve only used it on wet hair, with no problem of flaking etc. I’ve tried making my own salt spray, but the sprayer gets clogged. Not so with Mr. Masters’. Smells great.
