I will never be without one!
I love, love, love, LOVE these sponges! I tried the charcoal one, and loved it so much I also got the red clay one. I don’t like to use cleanser when I don’t have makeup on, so I use the charcoal one every morning and the red clay for the evenings I don’t wear makeup. I find they take 24 hours to really dry out, so I think it’s worth it to get two of them to make sure they’re drying out between washings. I use a bowl of filtered water to hydrate them, run them under warm water to wash, then use the filtered water as a cooling rinse for my face and for the sponge. I can’t comment on how well they work with a cleanser, but I just can’t get over how good these feel on your skin, so gentle and just the right amount of exfoliation for every day use.

I have sensitive skin, cystic acne and require the usual waxing. This charcoal sponge has eliminated my acne with no extra facial cleansers, helped with the scarring, has balanced the T-zone, eliminated the bumps that come from waxing and the hair grows back slower and finer. In short, this sponge surprised me, my skin feels good and although it is pricey for a small sponge is a lot cheaper than all the prescription cleansers that are brutal on the skin. I recommend this product to any person who shaves, waxes or has acne. It does work.

Bought one after trying my sister’s. Really like how gentle it is and how it can be used alone – although I wouldn’t rely on it to remove makeup. Haven’t been using it long enough to see if it can control my acne, but I have high hopes!
A gentle exfoliating cleansing sponge made from pure vegetable fibre.
