How long will an essential oil scent last on stone diffusers?
When placing 2-4 drops of an essential oil on any stone diffuser the scent will last for approximately two hours before dissipating into the air.
Can you burn essential oils?
Using a candle-style diffuser, mix a few drops of essential oil with a small amount of water. As the flame from the candle underneath warms the diffuser, the scent will release into the air.
What oils can I use in a fountain?
Use only essential oils such as citrus oils, mint or herbal oils. You should not use resinous oils such as Benzoin, Cinnamon Bark, Cocoa, Elemi, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Tolu Balsam, Vanilla, Vetiver as they can cause lasting damage and sticky build up on the fountain pump.
How do I figure out what dosage to use in my diffuser?
Essential oils are supremely concentrated, so less is usually more. When using a diffuser to add fragrance to a room place 2-8 drops (depending on the size of the room and intensity of oil) directly on the stone diffuser; or add to the disk in your electric diffuser.
