About the Ingredients:
- Natural Beeswax is used as a thickening agent.
- Stearic Acid is a thickener and emulsifier found in vegetable fats.
- Kaolin (clay) aids in absorbing oil secretion from the skin.
- Cetearyl Alcohol is an emollient, emulsifier, and thickener carrying agent derived from coconut.
- Lecithin is a natural emollient, emulsifier, antioxidant and spreading agent. Attracts water and acts as a moisturizer. Generally obtained from eggs and soybeans.
- Cetearyl Olivate (Sorbitan Olivate) acts as an emulsifier.
- Panthenol (Vitamin B5) acts as a penetrating moisturizer.
- Thyme Extract is known to be a potent antioxidant, and have antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. Its astringent properties help firm collagen in the skin.
- Cinnamon Bark Extract is known to have antimicrobial properties.
- Rosemary Leaf Extract is known to be an antioxidant for the skin.
- Lavender Flower Extract is known to have antibacterial properties. And is astringent, cleansing, rejuvenating, calming, soothing and moisturizing to the skin.
- Golden Seal Root Extract is known to have antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.

“Eyelashes stay 'soft' after applying
This was my first organic mascara, and I decided to try it (mostly, out of curiosity). One very lovely thing about it, is that this never makes your lashes stiff. They stay just…like lashes. Soft, while It does accentuate your eyes nicely, and naturally so – if you compare to non-organic dramatic-curl type of mascara. I always go for ‘natural look make-up’ (as in, nobody really notices I am wearing make-up but still look Good!) and this one does its job. If you’re looking for ‘volumizing dramatic curling’ mascara, you might not like this.
As for smudges, as a non-waterproof one, this one is very okay I would say. I find some greyish (not ugly smudges) line under at the end of the day, but in daytime no smudges. Again, whether a mascara smudges or not depends on your..uh…... anatomy/structure of your eyelids, the way you blink/smile (oh god I need a better word…). At least it won’t prevent me from ordering a second one in the future. If you are all for ‘dramatic lashes’, perhaps you better get something else.
I do highly recommend this =) Willing to purchase a second one.
One heart short, because compare to the price, the amount is so little…probably last about 2 months at max, if used everyday. =(

Directions for Use
Apply evenly to the upper and lower lashes ensuring color is taken from the roots to the tips. Allow the first coat to dry, next apply a second coat if desired. Always make sure you twist the wand as you remove it from the bottle as well as twist when you replace the wand in the bottle after use. This allows the air to escape and won't dry out your mascara.
