Often found in men's skin and body care, it can also be used as an insect repellent, to prevent acne, ease arthritis symptoms and aid tension. It is used as a middle or base note when infused with other oils, and blends well with most other essential oils, especially rose, lavender, bergamot and neroli. The warm oil has a masculine, balsamic-woody scent. It's made with pure, organic cedar wood that's expertly steam distilled to retain the powerful and effective therapeutic properties.

“Good bug repellant
Cedar wood is a fantastic oil to have in your collection. We use it at our cottage in Northern Ontario to keep moths and bugs at bay, and to ward off the mosquitoes, blackflies and horse flies that plague us up there. Directions for Use
In the bath add 2 –3 drops of cedar wood essential oil to a natural emulsifier such as a base oil, cream, honey, liquid soap or sea salts. To create a body, massage or bath oil, blend 5 to 15 drops of either just cedar wood oil or a combination of different essential oils into 50 ml of a base oil. To experience the aromatherapeutic benefits, add a few drops of oil to a bowl of hot water and inhale the healing steam. You can also use the oil in a fountain, burner or diffuser.
