Inspire clear thoughts, purify the air and create an uplifting environment using this invigorating essential oil. Often used as a respiratory aid to ease coughs, colds, sinusitis, bronchitis and rheumatism, it can also help heal skin infections and skin impurities when applied as a compress. Used as a top note when infused with other oils, it blends well with myrtle, peppermint, rosemary, thyme and lemon essential oils. It has a hot and fresh camphor-like scent. A member of the myrtle family, the eucalyptus used in this oil is steam distilled two times to remove the highly irritating components while retaining the therapeutic properties. For children (especially those under 6) we recommend you use the milder Eucalyptus Radiata Oil. WARNING: If you are taking homeopathic medicine, allow 2-3 hours between that and using the eucalyptus remedy.
The twigs and leaves used to make this oil are grown and harvested on Primavera's sustainable organic farming partnership Terra Provence in Portugal to ensure the highest quality and purest oil possible.
Recipe: Deep Breathing Blend: Mix together 2 drops eucalyptus oil, 3 drops peppermint oil and 6 drops of lemon oil.

“Sauna tip
If you have a deep cough, or are trying to head off a cold, put a couple drops on a cloth and hang in a steamy shower while you breathe in the steam. You can also put a couple drops in the water you splash on your sauna stones – amazing restorative. Can also use in the jacuzzi. (Don’t use in a hot tub though, as it doesn’t mix happily with the chemicals.)

Directions for Use
In the bath add 2 –3 drops of eucalyptus essential oil to a natural emulsifier such as a base oil, cream, honey, liquid soap or sea salts. To experience the aromatherapeutic benefits, add 1-2 drops of oil to a bowl of hot water and inhale the healing steam. Add 1-2 drops of oil to a diffuser, burner or fountain to infuse the air with a purifying fragrance. When blending into a base oil add 5-10 drops of either just eucalyptus oil or a combination of different essential oils into 50 ml of a base oil.
