Elegant, subtle, effective 4

I love the look and aromas whafting out of this elegant diffuser. It’s a subtle scent, but I don’t like to inhale a strong fragrance. After an hour or two I don’t consciously smell it anymore anyways – that’s just the way the brain/oldfactory lobe is with scents. If I want another hit, I just add a few more drops. Very pretty design.

Beautiful diffuser, requires some finessing 4

This is an elegant diffuser, one of the most attractive ones I’ve found. I’d love to give it five stars, but it’s not especially good at diffusing an aroma. The instructions say to add a few drops of essential oil on the underside of the stone. If I do this, the result is far too subtle—mine sits three feet from my desk and I can’t catch any hint of my essential oil blend. However, the trick is to apply the essential oil to the top of the stone instead, and that works well! It’s still quite subtle, but effective. The only downside of this is visible discoloration from the oil over time. Now that I know how to get it to diffuse a scent, I’d buy it again. I wouldn’t recommend this diffuser if you want the aroma to drift further than several feet.
