Also known as everlast or everlasting, it has a relaxing aroma that promotes tranquility and anti-inflammatory properties to help soothe and calm inflamed, sensitive skin. Considered a middle or base note when infused with other oils, immortelle oil blends well with rose, lavender, Roman chamomile, citronella, melissa (lemon balm) and bergamot essential oils. The heavily fragranced oil has a sweet, warm herbal scent that's similar to honey and is expertly steam distilled to retain its therapeutic properties.

“Stretchmark oil (sort of)
I picked this up in the hopes that it might reduce the appearance of my stretch marks – I call them my badges of honor for carrying my son, but I’d like them gone! I can’t say this has erased them, but this ultra-light oil does seem to absorb deeply into my dimpled skin and smooth/heal things a bit. Maybe it’s wishful thinking, or maybe I just need to stick with it a while longer. In the meantime, the smell is quite soothing and delicate so it’s pleasant to use.

Directions for Use
In the bath add 2 –3 drops of immortelle essential oil to a natural emulsifier such as a base oil, cream, honey, liquid soap or sea salts. To create a body, massage or bath oil blend 5 to 15 drops of either just immortelle oil or a combination of different essential oils into 50 ml of a base oil. To experience the aromatherapeutic benefits, add a few drops of basil oil to a bowl of hot water and inhale the healing steam. You can also use the oil in a fountain, burner or diffuser.
