Relax and balance your mind using this soothing essential oil that harmonizes the senses while taming tension, stress, insomnia and depression. The warming oil is also wonderful to use on the skin to help heal general infections, irritation, eczema and dry, chapped and cracked skin. It can also help reduce the appearance of cellulite and varicose veins. Used as a middle or base note when blended with other essential oils, it combines well with patchouli, ylang ylang, vetiver, cedar wood and floral oils. The wood is steam distilled to create an essential oil that has a warm, balsamic and exotic wood scent.

Directions for Use

In the bath add 2 -3 drops of essential oil to a natural emulsifier such as a base oil, cream, honey, liquid soap or sea salts. To create a body, massage or bath oil blend 5 to 15 drops of either just sandalwood oil or a combination of different essential oils into 50 ml of a base oil. To experience the aromatherapeutic benefits, add a few drops of sandalwood oil to a bowl of hot water and inhale the healing steam. You can also use the oil in a fountain, burner or diffuser.
