Thyme Thymol Oil 5mL (organic)

By Primavera

US$16.95

Stimulate and invigorate your environment with the warming fragrance of this purifying essential oil. Often used to aid coughs, colds, infections and bronchitis, thyme's antibacterial properties make it ideal for cold and flu season. Use it in a diffuser to purify the air and help prevent the spread of bacteria. Considered a middle or base note when blended with other essential oils, tea tree works well with pine, myrtle, lemon, niauli and cajeput oils. The oil is obtained through steam distillation and has a strong, spicy and fiery herbal scent.

The herb used to make this oil is grown and harvested on Primavera's sustainable organic farming partnerships in France and Spain to ensure the highest quality and purest oil possible.

Warning: Do not use this essential oil during pregnancy.

Directions for Use

In the bath add 2 -3 drops of essential oil to a natural emulsifier such as a base oil, cream, honey, liquid soap or sea salts. To create a body, massage or bath oil blend 5 to 15 drops of either just thyme oil or a combination of different essential oils into 50 ml of a base oil. To experience the aromatherapeutic benefits, add a few drops of thyme oil to a bowl of hot water and inhale the healing steam. You can also use the oil in a fountain, burner or diffuser.
