Shield skin from dangerous rays with this 100% natural mineral sunscreen suitable for all ages. Water resistant up to three hours, it leaves skin feeling slightly slick and shiny due to the ingredients that allow it to protect skin even during water activity. Soléo Organics uses a special form of extremely finely milled zinc oxide, which fully protects skin without leaving a white residue. The sting-free formula is hypoallergenic and nurtures with antioxidant-rich grape seed oil and green tea, soothing chamomile and hydrating safflower and sunflower oils. Non-scented. Completely biodegradable and made without chemical UV-absorbers, titanium dioxide, parabens or synthetic preservatives. Packaging made from 100% recycled materials and is recyclable.
This product goes on a little oily, but soaks in 5-10 minutes.

Though chemical sunscreens have not been studied to determine if they generate free radicals upon sun exposure, many are concerned that this is a very likely possibility. There are well-known scientific studies by Switzerland's Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology, which prove that chemical sunscreens have unintended detrimental consequences. The chemical compounds in sunscreens can accumulate in body fats, in mother's breast milk and can cause hormonal changes within the body. These chemicals mimic estrogen, and induce hormonal activities. Synthetic chemicals to avoid are: 4-Methyl-Benzylidencamphor, (4-MBC), Oxybenzone, Benzophenone-3, Octyl-methoyl-cinnamates (OMC), Octyl-Dimethyl-Para-Amino-Benzoic Acid (OD-PABA), and Homosalate (HMS).
